Having a hard time chosing publishing options for a number of diaries. What about diaries on Afghanistan? Or I have a few that are more generally about Foreign Policy. Can we resurrect that one?

I suggest using the Middle East category, and then tagging the post with other important details. I want the categories to be overly broad, and more specific details handled with tags.

I submitted a diary the day before the switch (I like the looks btw) and it seems lost. Is there any way to retrieve it for me? I foolishly didn't keep a copy of the text.

It seems that diaries don't show when there are new comments or am I missing something?

two column format

I am not crazy about the two column format. It is hard to read at times and really doesn't allow for enough text as a lead in. You have plenty of room on the page seeing as how long your right hand side bars are. I think you could might still be able to get the same number of articles per page.

The rest of the site works fine for me. Although there do seem to be less comments on the site as before. Not sure if its because some of those commenters have been banned.

The RIF logo is linking to the current diary page instead of the home page (this page being an exception to that). I noticed this starting during the day yesterday.
