Scott Guthrie urges Coventry to sue state

Following Providence's lead, Rep. Scott Guthrie sent a letter to the President of the Coventry Town Council, Raymond Spear, urging the Council to also pursue legal action against the state due to Carcieri's refusal to release the third quarter excise tax payment.

As other cities and towns are moving to do so, I feel that it would be in the best interest of the Town of Coventry to file legal action through the solicitor's office to recover the funds due to the taxpayers of the Town of Coventry.
