Likely to be Preliminary Motions

Attorney Jack McConnell recently received the go-ahead that the Justice Department has backed off their requests to restrict discovery in the case. They have been doing their own civil rights criminal investigation.. and don't need someone like a family seeking their own justice. But if I had to lay money: I would put it on Jack McConnell (Motley Rice) over our federal government. The feds don't have such a good track record when it comes to prosecuting folks in law enforcement- and they can't offer his family any financial reparations.

Following the Wyatt's internal investigation, which followed investigative reporting from the NYTimes' Nina Bernstein and the ACLU's inquiries...a few head honchos were cleaned from the house. Turned out how much money these good fellows were earning on the backs of taxpayers. One included an original partner in the investment enterprise: Anthony Ventetuolo. He earned over a million dollars. The warden and CFO are home, suspended with pay, to the tune of 200k/year. The interim CEO is making almost $5000 per week.

Taxpayers, through their government agents, negotiate fees to house prisoners at the Wyatt. These fees pay first their corporate bondholders (with interest), then pay the operating costs for the prison... including such salaries, and that of D.C. lobbyists who seek more prisoners in existence.

Meanwhile the Wyatt receives many city and state services for free, in exchange for an ever-shrinking payment to Central Falls.
