March Forth For Freedom: Poets and Activists @ Wyatt Detention Facility

I have been among the outspoken critics of our local for-profit prison, the Wyatt Detention Facility, in Central Falls, particularly noting deaths in ICE custody (including Jason Ng) and corruption amongst the staff and developers. On Thursday, poets and activists will be at the Wyatt for an Open Mic at noon, and again at 4pm.

This event is part of a national day of action against the profiteering of people, with others rallying and performing at prisons around the nation.
If you ever wanted to know what I really know about Wyatt... come out. It just so happens Wyatt goes on trial this week for the death of Ng.
